Bertrand Dezoteux

Bertrand Dezoteux (b. 1982, lives and works in Paris and Bayonne) is a graduate of the Haute École des arts du Rhin in Strasbourg and of Le Fresnoy, Studio national des arts contemporains (Tourcoing).

He has previously been invited to Palais de Tokyo: in 2010 in the context of Modules – Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent, but also as part of the group exhibition “Dynasty” organized jointly with the Musée d’art moderne de la ville de Paris, and in 2017 as part of the group exhibition “The Dream of Forms”. He regularly exhibits in France (Frac Acquitaine, Centre Pompidou) and abroad (New York Film Festival, Frieze London). In 2015, he is the winner of the Audi Talent Awards for his project En attendant Mars. In March 2018, his work will be shown at the Théâtre des Amandiers (Nanterre); in April, Galerie Édouard Manet (Gennevilliers) will hold a monographic exhibition of his work, which will also feature in the collective exhibition “Gravité Zéro” at the Abattoirs in Toulouse.
