Vivien Roubaud

Born in 1986, Vivien Roubaud has already been confronted to the architecture of Palais de Tokyo at the occasion of his solo exhibition for the Modules Fondation Pierre Bergé–Yves Saint Laurent in 2013/2014. He had notably created time sculptures by fixing the instantaneity of an explosion plexiglas tubes filled with oil. Here, the installation is also about encapsulating and empowering ephemeral phenomenon. Since he graduated from the Villa Arson in 2011, his work has been included in several group shows such as “Demain c’est loin” (Villa Arson, 2011) and “Le Parfait Flâneur” at the Lyon Biennale (2015). In 2014, he received the award Révélations Emerige. The artist is represented by the In Situ Fabienne Leclerc Gallery (Paris).
