DJ MIXS DE LAZY FLOW ET GЯEG As part of the exhibition "Ubuntu, a lucid dream"

Lazy Flow and GЯEG, both resident DJs of the collective LA CREOLE, will end in music the Carte Blanche to Chris Cyrille and Sarah Matia Pasqualetti. Saturday January 15th from 7 tp 9 pm Lazy Flow and GЯEG will mix the vinyl albums on display in the Library of Things We Forgot to Remember with their personal tracklists.

LA CREOLE is a multidisciplinary collective dedicated to the diffusion of miscegenation cultures. Its manifest is rooted in Edouart Glissant’s concept of the ‘‘Tout-Monde’’ : a world that we share according to a principal of interpenetration of cultures. This immersive laboratory, a true space of intercultural expressions, brings together musical entities from the diversity of Creole territories and diasporas, allowing for a dialogue between music from Afro, Latino and Caribbean cultures and the European clubbing scene, and celebrating all diversities, be they gender, sex, origins, colors and others.

The Library of Things We Forgot to Remember

The Library of Things We Forgot to Remember, presented for the first time in France, is a project by artist Kudzanai Chiurai. The extensive collection of archives, mostly sound, on view in this library constitutes the soundtrack of the struggles for civil rights and liberation movements in the global south. This space of hospitality, considered a liberated zone, regularly hosts DJ-sets and a series of sessions that intersect speech, poetry, performance and music, focusing on practices and imaginaries in resistance.
