Little Palais

Visits will be back with the opening of upcoming show L’Etat du Ciel on the 14th of February.

The Palais de Tokyo proposes a number of fun and creative activities for young audiences. In order to make contemporary creation more accessible to our younger visitors, Little Palais may take on the guise of a lecture hall, a concert hall or an art workshop. Accompanied by parents or amuseum educator, youngsters can embark on an  extraordinary artistic adventure.

Little Palais is open to families and school groups; it can take the form of art workshops or an afternoon of storytelling, and remains an original and inclusive means of bringing young audiences closer to contemporary art.

Tok-Tok Program

The activities on offer in Tok-Tok take place partly within the exhibition spaces, in close proximity to the art, and partly in the Little Palais around the exhibition halls.

Specially adapted to the needs of children according to their age groups, Tok-Tok activities help children understand the work of artists “from the inside” and develop their observational skills, inventiveness and self-sufficiency.

My annivarty For 5 to 10-year-olds

For 5 to 10-year-olds, the Palais de Tokyo organizes play workshops to celebrate birthdays in a big bath of contemporary art. Supervised by a mediator for youngsters, the children first of all set off to discover the exhibitions, leaving the lion’s share to the imagination and dialogue in the course of an interactive visit. They then try their hand in a humorous way at different mediums of visual and three-dimensional expression by means of a workshop to be chosen to suit the responsiveness and age of the children. Each child leaves with a unique work s/he has created.
