Jean-Michel Rabaté, professor of English and American literature at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia) is one of the editors of the Journal of Modern Literature, one of the founders of the Slought Foundation, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is the author of 25 books as well as 15 collections of essays. His latest publications include Crimes of the Future (2014), Introduction to Literature and Psychoanalysis (2014), 1922: Literature, culture, politics (2014), Think, Pig! Beckett at the limit of the Human (2016), The Pathos of Distance (2016), and Les Guerres de Derrida, 2016. Two books and another collection will come out in spring 2018: Rust, Kafka L.O.L. and After Derrida.
